Guest Messaging

Text your guests from the number they already call.

Hello Hotel gives your property two-way guest messaging on your hotel’s own number, with live reservation data attached to every thread. A guest texts a question from the road and gets an answer from someone who already knows their room, their arrival date, and how they booked. The messages that go out the same way every stay send themselves, and 10DLC registration is handled inside the app.

What you get

Guest messaging built around a guest’s stay, not a generic inbox.

Guests already text everyone else in their life. This is what it takes to let them text your hotel and get a real answer.

Two-way texting on your hotel’s number

Every text arrives with the guest attached

Personal, without typing it out every time

Smart, personal messages timed to the guest’s journey

Everybody texts

Better for your team and better for your guests.

A text takes fifteen seconds to answer and leaves a record behind. That changes what a small team can handle in a day.

01 — For your front desk

You answer without picking up the phone.

Handle several conversations in the time one call would take, from the same place your calls and voicemails already live. Your personal cell number never enters the picture, and neither does a second texting app.

02 — For your GM or owner

Every text is on the record.

Guest texting belongs to the property, so you can see what was promised, when it went out, and whether it was delivered. Nothing that matters lives in a staff member’s personal message history.

03 — For every arrival

The check-in text sends itself.

Directions, parking, door codes, and the online check-in link go out on schedule with each guest’s own details filled in. Your team stops retyping the same message and guests stop calling to ask where to park.

04 — For your guests

They text you like they text anyone else.

There is no app to download, no portal to log into, and no hold music. They send a question from the airport and get an answer from a person who already has their reservation in front of them.

Frequently asked questions

What is hotel guest messaging?

It’s two-way texting between your property and your guests, run from the hotel’s number rather than a staff member’s personal phone. In Hello Hotel, every text lands in that guest’s single thread next to their calls and voicemails, with live reservation data from your PMS attached, so whoever is on shift can answer with full context. Messages can be sent by a person or triggered automatically by reservation events like check-in and check-out.

How do hotels communicate with guests today?

Most properties are running three or four disconnected channels: a front desk phone, a voicemail box nobody owns, an info@ address, and staff cell phones for anything urgent. A guest communication platform pulls those into one place. Hello Hotel does it with a single number guests can both call and text, one thread per guest, and live reservation data from your PMS on every conversation, so whoever is on shift can answer without hunting for context.

Do guests need to download an app?

No. Guests text your hotel exactly the way they text anyone else in their life, from the same messaging app they already use all day. There is nothing to install, no portal to log into, and no link they have to click first. Someone can ask about a late arrival from the security line and get an answer before they reach their gate.

Can we text from our existing hotel phone number?

Yes. You can port the number your guests, OTAs, and signage already use, and then both call and text on it. Porting runs through Telnyx with status tracking inside the app.

What is 10DLC, and do we have to deal with it?

10DLC is the carrier registration required to send business text messages in the US. Hello Hotel handles it in the app with a guided wizard for brand and campaign registration and live status updates, so you are not managing it in a third-party tool or waiting on a carrier form nobody understands.

Can we send automated texts before, during, and after a stay?

Yes. Automations trigger on reservation events, guest tags, schedules, or an inbound message, with optional conditions and delays. Common ones are a pre-arrival note with directions and parking, a door code sent when online check-in completes, a mid-stay check-in, and a post-stay thank you.

Does the guest’s reservation info show up when they text?

Yes. Incoming texts are matched to a guest by phone number, and the thread opens with stay dates, room number, reservation status, booking source, and repeat-guest history pulled live from Mews.

Can we text a group of guests at once?

Yes. Select multiple conversations or contacts and send in bulk, with personalization variables resolved per guest so each message still reads like it was written for one person.

How are texts billed?

Per segment. Plans start at $99/mo, and your plan covers your team up to its user count. Full details are on the pricing page.
